Selena- murdered by the head of her own fan club. Could this be Howard’s fate? Sal is hilarious, deranged, mentally ill, delusional, socially retarded, and a stalker-type. He loves Howard and will do anything to get into Howard’s life. He tries to ingratiate himself into ever aspect of Howard’s life. For awhile, whenever the wedding came up, the talk immediately turned to Sal. He was able to make the wedding about him. He is a great manipulator. But is he an obsessed, potentially homicidal stalker? I think so and worry he will kill Howard.

Sal is like Rupert Pupkin, Robert DeNiro’s character in Martin Scorses’s The King of Comedy. Pupkin is a terrible stand up comedian who want to get onto a late night show hosted by Jerry Lewis. Pupkin, like the Revernd Bob Levy, lives in a basement, but it is his mother’s, making him more pathetic than the Reverend. So Pupkin kidnaps Jerry Lewis and forces him to endure his lousy, uncomfortably unfunny stand-up routine.

Sal has met his hero and works for him. But how much rejection can he take before he snaps? I’m worried the show will end before Howard’s contract is up because of Sal bringing an AK-47 into work one day. Lunatic!!!
